Description
One-time series.
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) standard design electric locomotive, road number 140 678-4. Chrome oxide green basic paint scheme. Version with double lamps, plastic rain gutters above the front windows and driver’s cab doors, “Schweiger” type ventilation grilles (original condition), undivided engine room window with rubber seal and handles on the front. The locomotive looks as it did around 1989. Use: Local and long-distance freight and passenger trains.
Model: new construction. Zinc die-cast housing and support. Built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with DCC and Selectrix. Engine with flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. The headlights and taillights change over with the direction of travel, with warm white LEDs, driver’s cab lighting, and can be controlled digitally. Kinematics for close coupling. Attached handlebars. Length over buffers 103 mm.
