Description
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 038 steam locomotive with a tender. Former Prussian P8. Version with triple headlights, two boiler superstructures, bell, normal Prussian driver’s cab, Witte smoke deflectors, coal box attachment and Indusi. Company number 038 382-8. Operating condition around 1970/71.
Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler. Three axles powered. traction tires. Locomotive and tender largely made of metal. The triple headlights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Smoke generator contact will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Set up for smoke unit 72270. Fire flickering can be controlled digitally. In addition, the cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free, warm-white light-emitting diodes (LED). Minimum radius that can be driven on is 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes, brake hoses and screw couplings are included. Length over the buffers approx. 21.3 cm.
